Floods in Kinshasa kill at least 8 people

At least eight people have been killed as a result of floods caused by heavy rains that hit the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Report informs referring to TASS.
Heavy rains have not stopped over Kinshasa for the last two days, as a result of which the Congo River overflowed its banks. Flooding led to the collapse of buildings, killing people under the rubble. The situation was especially difficult in the Kuba and Ngaliema neighborhoods.
Since early April 8 morning, residents of Kinshasa have been unable to move around the city due to flooding.
