Famous American actress passes away

American actress Betty White has passed away in Los Angeles, the USA, three weeks before her 100^th birthday, Report informs citing People magazine that the actress was supposed to celebrate her 100th birthday on January 17.

During her television career, the actress won six Emmy awards and had been nominated for the award 23 times. She is the only actress to win every comedy award.

White is known, in particular, for the television series Golden Girls, for which she starred in 1985 and tells the story of the lives of four widowed or divorced women of venerable age.
