The European Union has harmonized the validity of vaccination certificates for international travel.
Report informs, citing the press service of the European Commission, that in conformity with the new rules, a green digital COVID certificate will be valid for nine months after receiving the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
"From today, the green digital COVID certificate will be valid for nine months for those who have completed the full vaccination cycle," the EC said in a statement.
At the same time, "this standardized period does not apply to booster doses", for which, different rules remain in different EU countries.
