The European Union intends to increase the cost of Brexit if British Prime Minister Theresa May will ask for a postponement, Report informs citing the Daily Telegraph.
The publication notes that the EU intends to raise the cost of exit to 39 billion pounds (more than 45 billion euros) for the postponement of Brexit. Brussels will demand the execution of legal and financial terms of the deal more harshly if London begins to delay.
Notably, the vote on Brexit is scheduled for March 12 in the UK Parliament.
