EU to allocate 3.5M euros for migrants’ return back home from Belarus

The European Union will allocate 3.5 million euros to support the voluntary return of migrants from Belarus to their countries.
Report informs, citing TASS that this was stated on Tuesday by European Commission (EC) President Ursula von der Leyen, speaking at the plenary session of the European Parliament (EP) in Strasbourg.
“More and more migrants are trapped, and we will work with UN agencies to facilitate their return home. We will mobilize up to 3.5 million euros to support voluntary return from Belarus,” she said.
