The comprehensive development of relations with BRICS corresponds to Türkiye's interests, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in his statement on the results of the Cabinet of Ministers meeting, Report informs.
Erdogan stated that there is great potential for cooperation with BRICS countries.
According to the president, Ankara remains committed to expanding relations with member countries of the organization in its foreign policy.
"Cooperation with BRICS promises great opportunities for Türkiye, which is today one of the world's top 10 economies and meets its interests in all aspects. Relations with BRICS will not interfere with the fulfillment of our current obligations within other organizations," the Turkish leader emphasized.
