Egypt to pay expenses of tourists infected with COVID

The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt, Khaled al-Anani, said that the authorities agreed with the hotels to pay the expenses of tourists in case of their coronavirus disease, Report informs, citing TASS.
"If the case of the disease is mild, then the tourist stays at the hotel. We have agreed with the hotels that they will pay for the expenses of tourists during their stay in Egypt," he said.
In case of a severe coronavirus case, the Egyptian authorities will cover all the costs of treating a foreign citizen in public hospitals in Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada, or Cairo.
