Death toll from Philippines earthquake rises to 68

At least 68 people have been killed and 33 remain missing following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck off the southern coast of Mindanao on June 8.
According to Report, citing Xinhua, the updated figures were released on Tuesday by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
The NDRRMC reported that the earthquake affected more than 337,000 households, or approximately 1.38 million people.
Nearly 68,000 homes sustained damage, including about 12,400 that were completely destroyed, according to the report.
