Curfew in Damascus lifted

The armed opposition that came to power in Syria has announced the lifting of the curfew in Damascus.

According to Report, the corresponding statement was published in the Telegram channel of the Military Operations Command (the governing body of opposition formations).

"Dear residents of Damascus city and the province of the same name, we inform you that the Military Operations Command has lifted the curfew in the city," the text states.

The Syrian opposition has also lifted the curfew in adjacent areas, Al Jazeera TV channel reported.
