The Rony Roller Circus filled the Pope's Audience Hall with music, dancing, juggling and acrobatics. The Pope seemed to enjoy the performance as he watched attentively, Report informs, citing foreign media.
About 20 men and women sporting colourful costumes showcased their various skills, including juggling pins and flaming torches.
Pope Francis was visibly impressed. He applauded the jugglers and acrobats. At one point, he could be heard telling his assistant that he wanted a picture with the group at the end of the Audience.
The Rony Roller Circus, based in Rome, isn't the first group to be invited to perform at a General Audience, and judging by the Pope's reaction, it probably won't be the last.
