China imposes sanctions on several US House of Representatives

The Chinese government has imposed sanctions on Michael McCaul, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US House of Representatives, who visited Taiwan in early April, Report informs referring to TASS.
“Republican Congressman Michael McCaul of Texas in recent years has repeatedly interfered in words and deeds in China’s internal affairs and harmed the interests of the country, he recently led a delegation that visited the Taiwan region of China, thereby seriously violating the principle of 'one China' and the provisions communiqué between China and the United States,” the Department of North America and Oceania of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
