Canadian special forces operators have been deployed to Ukraine amid rising tensions between the NATO military alliance and Russia, Report informs, citing Global News.
According to the information, the unit has also been tasked with helping to develop evacuation plans for Canadian diplomatic personnel in the event of an escalation on the Russian-Ukrainian border. Neither the Defense Ministry nor the Canadian Government has confirmed this information to the TV channel officially.
