British actor Anthony Head dies at 72

British actor Anthony Head has died at the age of 72, his family told the BBC, as quoted by Report.
Head rose to international prominence for his roles in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003) and Ted Lasso (2020–present).
He also appeared in several other TV productions, including Merlin (2008–2012), Little Britain (2003–2006), and Manchild (2002–2003).
On the big screen, he was known for films such as The Iron Lady (2011) and Persuasion (2007).
According to the family"s statement, the actor died from complications caused by pneumonia.
