The European Union intends to create a network of defense agreements with third countries and encourages all interested parties to join it, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said while opening the Brussels Schumann Forum dedicated to security issues, Report informs via TASS.
"The number of threats is increasing. We must expand our system of cooperation, creating new partnerships on defense and security. I just signed two new ones - with Moldova and Norway. We are preparing six more. And I invite everyone who is interested in developing defense cooperation with us, because we want to create a network of defense partnerships around the world," Borrell said.
