US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Israel on May 25.
Report informs, citing TRT Haber, that at the Ben-Gurion airport, he was welcomed by Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi.
As part of the visit, Blinken will discuss support for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and humanitarian assistance to the Gaza strip.
After meeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi on May 25, the Secretary of State will head to Ramallah, Palestine, to meet with Palestine leader Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh.
After Israel and Palestine, Blinken will leave for Egypt and Jordan.
