Black boxes of AZAL's crashed Embraer 190 aircraft to be sent to Brazil

Taking into account Azerbaijan's objective and principled position, a decision has been made to send the black boxes of the Embraer 190 passenger aircraft of Azerbaijan Airlines, which crashed near Aktau, to the Brazilian Aeronautical Accidents Investigation and Prevention Center (CENIPA), Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

The delivery and decifering process of the black boxes at CENIPA will be carried out with direct accompaniment and participation of Azerbaijani specialists. Additionally, international experts specialized in this field, engaged by the Azerbaijani side, will also participate in this process. This approach aims to ensure that crash investigations are conducted in a fully transparent manner and in accordance with international standards.

This step also serves to prevent possible doubts about the objectivity of the crash investigations and increase the credibility of the results for the international community. The direct participation of Azerbaijani specialists and the accompaniment of international experts will further strengthen the comprehensiveness and accuracy of the investigation.
