Bild: German chancellor earns 30,000 euros per month

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s salary is 30,000 euros, Report informs referring to the Bild newspaper.

The ministers of economy, foreign affairs and finance are in the second position in terms of salary - Robert Habeck, Annalena Baerbock and Christian Lindner each receive 25,500 euros.

Such high salaries are because that they receive salaries both as members of the government and as deputies of the Bundestag. For this reason, the level of income of the head of the German Defense Ministry, Christine Lambrecht, who doesn’t have a mandate in parliament, is 20,400 euros.
