Against the background of NATO exercises, the Belarusian Armed Forces have initiated a thorough inspection of their troops’ combat readiness.
Report informs that the Ministry of Defense of Belarus announced the commencement of this evaluation, which aims to ensure the military’s preparedness for combat and mobilization under the current geopolitical circumstances.
As part of this readiness check, specific military units will be deployed to predetermined areas to participate in training exercises. This move comes in the wake of the ‘Dragon’ exercises conducted in Poland and other NATO maneuvers that involved a significant number of military personnel, estimated at around 90,000 soldiers.
The Defense Minister of Belarus, Viktor Khrenin, has previously expressed concerns regarding the formation of NATO strike groups along Belarus’s western frontier.
