At least 15 people were killed in wildfires in South Korea, the country’s Yonhap news agency noted citing officials, Report informs.
The report says 12 people were killed in the province of Gyeongsangbuk-do and three more - in Gyeongsangnam-do.
The wildfires swept through country’s southeast on March 21. The government declared the state of emergency in three regions - the Ulsan Metropolitan City and the provinces of Gyeongsangbuk-do and Gyeongsangnam-do. More than 3,000 people have been evacuated.
