Authorities in Kagoshima Prefecture in southwestern Japan have found an iron ball about 1.5 meters in diameter on the coast of one of the local islands, the origin and purpose of which remain unknown, Report informs referring to TASS.
On February 21, a similar ball was found on the coast of Shizuoka Prefecture in the central part of the country. The Kagoshima authorities, as a result of the check, found that the ball was hollow inside, but it was so heavy that it was difficult to move it. According to one of the assumptions, it may be a sea buoy that washed ashore.
