Air force helicopter crashes in Kenya

A Kenyan Air Force helicopter has crashed in the north of the country, killing people, according to the representative of the Kenyan Ministry of Defense Zipporah Kioko, Report informs referring to TASS.
“The helicopter was conducting aerial surveillance as part of the ongoing security operation Amani Boni,” he was quoted as saying by the Nation newspaper.
According to the Garowe portal, at least eight soldiers died in the helicopter crash.
The helicopter crashed near the border with Somalia. The causes of the emergency have not yet been established.
