About 24,000 people were evacuated in Delhi after the water level in the Yamuna River breached an all-time record, Report informs, citing TASS.
Heavy rains in northern India on July 8–10 caused floods and landslides in several states.
The evacuation of residents of flooded areas began on July 10. Rescue and recovery work is ongoing in the disaster zone.
