5 killed in Russian attack on Kyiv

Russia launched a massive strike on Kyiv and the region with missiles and drones, Report informs referring to Ukrainian media.

The attack killed five people, injured 18, and destroyed the entrance to a multi-story building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, four people died in Kyiv. Another ten were injured and taken to hospital.

Rescue services continue to clear the rubble. In the Kyiv region, in the city of Bila Tserkva, one person died. Eight were injured, including two rescuers who were injured while clearing damaged buildings. Residential buildings and medical institutions were damaged. Work to eliminate the consequences continues.
