13 killed, several injured as truck rams trailer in India

At least 13 people lost their lives in a road accident, including nine women, two girls, one boy, and a six-month-old infant, after a truck collided with a trailer in Chhattisgarh, India, Report informs via India Today.
Eleven people also sustained injuries in the crash, according to the news agency PTI. After the accident, emergency services rushed the injured to the Kharsora Community Health Centre and Raipur Medical College for immediate treatment.
Reportedly, the victims were returning from a Chhathi ceremony held in Bana Banarsi village when their vehicle collided with a trailer truck.
Police registered a case and the matter is being investigated.
