10 killed, over 40 injured in collision between 2 buses in Pakistan

At least 10 people were killed and over 40 others injured in a collision between two passenger buses in the Nawab Shah district of Pakistan's southern Sindh province, said the rescue service, Report informs, citing CGTN.
The accident occurred in the district's Daur area in the wee hours when the two buses traveling in opposite directions on a single-lane road overtook two different vehicles at the same time. As a result, the two buses ended up crashing into each other.
The rescue workers reached the site and shifted the victims to the local hospitals.
Some of the victims got trapped in the buses initially and were pulled out following a rescue operation.
The victims included women and children, the rescue service said.
