Program of Sahiba Gafarova's visit to Italy unveiled

A parliamentary delegation led by Milli Majlis Speaker Sahiba Gafarova will be on an official visit to Italy on May 17-19 at the invitation of the Italian side, Report informs, citing the Press and Public Relations Department of the Parliament.

The delegation includes the chairman of a parliamentary committee Tahir Mirkishili, head of the working group on interparliamentary relations with Italy Azer Karimli, MPs Gudrat Hasanguliyev, Elnur Allahverdiyev, Agiya Nakhchivanli, Afet Hasanova, Chief of the Parliament's Staff Safa Mirzayev, and other officials.

As part of the visit, the speaker of the Milli Majlis will meet with the speakers of both chambers of the Italian Parliament and the country's foreign minister. The parties will exchange views on the current state and prospects of inter-parliamentary relations.

The parliamentary delegation will also meet with members of the friendship group in the Italian Parliament and the Italian-Azerbaijani Friendship Association.
