Turkish MP: Opening of Zangazur Corridor to serve regional development

The opening of the Zangazur Corridor will serve the development of the region, said Murat Emir, Deputy Chairman of the Republican People's Party (CHP) faction in the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Report informs.

Emir revealed this at the international parliamentary conference themed "Parliamentarism: Traditions and Perspectives" held in Baku.

According to him, the Zangazur Corridor, which will form part of the Middle Corridor, promises opportunities approaching a trillion dollars:

"This cooperation will undoubtedly contribute not only to increased economic cooperation but also to the development of political and cultural relations in the region."
