Oman joins APA as full member, Belarus as observer

Oman attends the 15th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) as a full member, while Belarus participates as an observer, Speaker of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova said during the opening ceremony of the event held in Baku on February 19 under Azerbaijan's chairmanship, Report informs.

According to Gafarova, both countries submitted their applications to the organization on February 18:

"I hope the applications will receive positive responses."
