New bill on demining activities developed in Azerbaijan

A new bill "On Demining Activities" has been prepared in Azerbaijan.

According to Report, the document was submitted for discussion at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis committee on defense, security and anti-corruption.

The bill consists of three sections and 14 articles. It will regulate the organization and implementation of mine action activities in Azerbaijan, including demining.

However, the document will not regulate activities in this direction carried out by the Armed Forces for the purpose of ensuring the country's security and defense.
