The hypocrisy of many states regarding COP29 and Karabakh policy is apparent, Zahid Oruj, chairman of the Human Rights Committee of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis, said during today's plenary session, Report informs.
According to Oruj, for 34 years, iWestern multinational companies have been extracting hundreds of millions of tons of Azerbaijan's oil and gas reserves, transporting them to European markets, and consuming them in giant industrial enterprises:
"Those calling for sanctions against our country from the European Union can turn off our gas in their homes and freeze from the cold. However, they don't have the power to stop the activities of energy monopolies like BP, Chevron, Exxon Mobile, and Total."
