Children with limited health abilities to be able to study in mainstream schools

In Azerbaijan, children with limited health abilities will be able to attend classes in mainstream schools together with their healthy peers.
Report informs that at today's meeting of Parliament, the draft amendments to the laws "On Education (Special Education) of Persons with Disabilities" and "On Education" were discussed in the first reading.
The bill specifies the types of educational institutions and harmonizes the norms of both laws to provide persons with disabilities with special conditions for joint education with their healthy peers to ensure their social adaptation by instilling the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
The draft amendments to the laws were put to the vote and adopted in the first reading.
