Azerbaijani parliament holding hearing on threat of landmines

A public hearing is being held at the Milli Majlis (Parliament), themed “Tackling the Threat of Landmines: The Impact of Explosives on the Ecosystem."

Report informs that the event is organized by the Milli Majlis Committee for Natural Resources, Energy, and Ecology.

The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Mukhtar Babayev, the Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), Vugar Suleymanov, the Minister of Agriculture, Majnun Mammadov, the sector head of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Presidential Administration, Habib Mikayilli, the Ambassador of Türkiye to Azerbaijan, Cahit Bagci, the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, Vladanka Andreeva, and others are participating in the meeting.
