Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis to start state budget discussions on November 18

Discussions on Azerbaijan's state budget package for 2025 will begin in the Milli Majlis on November 18, a member of the parliament's Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship told Report.
On the same day, the first discussion of the budget package is planned in the committee.
According to the bill submitted to the Milli Majlis by the Ministry of Finance, state budget revenues in 2025 are projected to be nearly 38.32 billion manats ($22.54 billion) (5.3% more than the approved forecast for 2024), while expenditures are expected to be nearly 41.37 billion manats ($24.34 billion) (4.1% more).
The budget deficit will amount to 3.05 billion manats ($1.8 billion), 9% less compared to the previous year.
