Azerbaijan may increase duration of maternity leave

It is proposed to increase the duration of social maternity leave by 14 days in Azerbaijan, Report informs.

The proposal was made by Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliamentary Committee on Labor and Social Policy Musa Guliyev at today’s committee meeting.

He reminded that currently the duration of this leave is 126 days in total: “With an amendment to the Labor Code, this period can be increased to 140 days.”
