Ali Ahmadov: Inter-parliamentary relations will help deepen Azerbaijan-Italy economic and political dialogue

Inter-parliamentary ties between Italy and Azerbaijan have a positive impact on the development of economic and political dialogue between the two countries, the First Deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis Ali Ahmadov said at a meeting with members of the friendship group with Azerbaijan at the Inter-Parliamentary Union of the Italian Parliament, Report informs.

Ali Ahmadov emphasized the high level of cooperation between Italy and Azerbaijan in economic, cultural, and political spheres.

Member of the Committee on Environment, Territory and Public Affairs of the Italian Chamber of Deputies Salvatore Caiata emphasized that mutual visits of the heads of state of Italy and Azerbaijan play an important role in the development of bilateral relations. Referring to the prospects for future cooperation between Italy and Azerbaijan in the construction sector, he noted that joint projects in this area will make a significant contribution to the economic development of both countries.

The parties expressed hope that Azerbaijani-Italian relations will continue to develop, and mutual cooperation will gain new perspectives.

The meeting was attended by the head of the working group on inter-parliamentary relations Azerbaijan-Italy Azer Karimli and other officials.
