MoD: Despite doctors' efforts, it was impossible to save warrant officer's life

Reports that warrant officer Ahmadov Mirza Balagardash oglu was wounded during World War II and after 8 months of coma became a martyr have been spread in some media outlets and social networks. We want to bring to your attention that Ahmadov has been on treatment for more than a year at the Head Clinical Hospital of the Armed Forces due to an injury sustained during service on August 7, 2020 ".
The Ministry of Defense responded to Report's inquiry.
"However, despite the efforts of the doctors, it was not possible to save his life, and Ahmadov died yesterday. The leadership of the Ministry of Defense expresses deep condolences to the family and close ones of the serviceman," the Ministry added.
