MARSEC COE to employ Azerbaijani personnel

The NATO Maritime Security Centre of Excellence (MARSEC COE) will employ Azerbaijani personnel on a permanent basis

Report informs, citing the Turkish Ministry of National Defense that Azerbaijan and the NATO Maritime Security Centre of Excellence signed a technical agreement on the country's accession to operation.

The signing ceremony took place at NATO Command Transformation, where representatives of the center's sponsoring countries - Türkiye, Portugal, Romania and Greece - were also present.

As a result of this agreement, Azerbaijani personnel will permanently work in MARSEC COE, and the flag of Azerbaijan will be raised among the flags of the center's participating countries.
