Illegal Armenian armed groups attempt provocation in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam, Khojaly

On November 17, from 09:55 to 14:45 (GMT+4), units of the Azerbaijani army observed the implementation of engineering work by members of illegal Armenian armed formations in the Azerbaijani territory, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily deployed, in order to strengthen combat positions in the territory of Aghdam and Khojaly district, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Defense.

Such actions are a gross violation of the requirements of the tripartite statement signed by presidents of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Russian Federation and prime minister of Armenia on November 10, 2020.

In order to suppress the ongoing illegal activities, the units of the Azerbaijani army have taken the necessary measures.
