Ilham Aliyev: Today, Azerbaijani Army is capable of fulfilling any task

"We have destroyed fascism; we have rescued the South Caucasus from fascism. However, there are still manifestations of fascism; some circles in Armenia, Armenians living abroad are still trying to threaten us," President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said, addressing the 5th Congress of World Azerbaijanis.

"But they should not forget the history of the Second Karabakh War," the head of state said.

"We have increased our strength. During the year and a half, a lot of work was done in the field of army building. Now some of these works have been presented to the public; some of them, of course, can not be presented. But everyone should know that today the Azerbaijani Army is capable of fulfilling any task. The ability to fight, the national spirit, the morale, the weapons, the equipment, the creation of new combat units - we do all this because there are still manifestations of Armenian fascism, and if Armenian fascism rises again, we must be ready, and we are ready to crush it at any moment. Armenia knows it, understands it well, and should never forget it," the Azerbaijani leader said.
