Creation of military prosecutor’s offices complete in liberated Azerbaijani districts

Due to the occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia for 30 years, the military prosecutor’s offices of Azerbaijan, as well as other state bodies, couldn’t function in the occupied territories, Chief of the Investigative Supervision Department of the Military Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan, Colonel of Justice Mehdi Huseynzade said, Report informs.

In accordance with the order of President Ilham Aliyev dated April 1, 2021, on the creation of military prosecutor’s offices in the liberated territories, in order to ensure a more effective organization of the activities of the military prosecutor’s offices in the territories that have been under Armenian occupation for 30 years and liberated by the victorious Azerbaijani army, the Gubadli military prosecutor’s office, and the Kalbajar military prosecutor’s office were created, and the Aghdam military prosecutor’s office was formed on the basis of the Karabakh military prosecutor’s office.

"Thus, the bodies of the military prosecutor’s office have been created in all territories under the jurisdiction of the Republic of Azerbaijan," Huseynzade added.
