Baku welcomes local and Turkish doctors for rheumatology congress

Baku is currently hosting the National Congress of Rheumatologists, bringing together a skilled team of local doctors and medical professionals from Türkiye, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense told Report.

The Acting Head of the Medical Department of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant Colonel of the Medical Service Anar Ismayilov, delivered a speech during the opening ceremony. He emphasized that the primary objectives of this congress are to educate rheumatologists, introduce them to new diagnostic and treatment methods, support scientific research, and establish scientific and practical connections with foreign colleagues.

Ismayilov highlighted that the congress held in Baku will provide a fresh impetus to the development of rheumatology in Azerbaijan.

The event attracted more than 250 local and international guests.
