Azerbaijani Defense Ministry: We did not negotiate with Russia to purchase BAL-E missile systems

Baku. 6 December. REPORT.AZ/ "We did not negotiate with Russia on purchase of BAL-E missile systems and did not have such intention to obtain a complex," the press service of Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
Report informs that the ministry denied reports in various media outlets that Azerbaijan is interested in purchase of BAL-E missile systems but Russia does not consider it appropriate to sell these systems to Baku.
“At the same time, it should be noted that Azerbaijan uses various advanced defense systems and missile complexes of different countries in order to ensure security in the Caspian Sea sector of Azerbaijan," the statement reads.
