Journalists of French colonies begin first visit to Azerbaijan

The first Azerbaijan visit of media representatives operating in territories under French colonial rule has begun.

Report informs that the two-day visit aims to organize special communication training for 12 media representatives operating in various regions under French colonial rule and to exchange experiences with local media representatives.

Foreign media representatives will also get acquainted with Azerbaijan's global position on protecting the rights of peoples suffering from colonialism, the international activities of the Baku Initiative Group, and the support provided to peoples suffering from colonialism.

At the same time, opportunities for joint cooperation will be explored to provide accurate information to the world community about the consequences of the policy of colonialism.
