Facebook doubled profit last year

Baku. 29 January. REPORT.AZ/ Net profit of the largest social network in the world - Facebook to the end of year 2014 made 2.94 billion USD, which is more by 96% than the previous year. Report informs referring to the BBC, in the fourth quarter profit exceeded 701 million USD. This is more by 34% than the same period of the last year.

According to information, Facebook increases revenues through growth of sales via mobile advertising. In 2014 it brought two-thirds of the total advertising revenue.

Social network counted 1.39 billion monthly active users. Last year a number of users of this social network increased by 13%.
