Azerbaijan and China to cooperate in radio and television

On June 24, the Azerbaijani delegation met with the Director of the National Radio and Television Administration of China, Cao Shumin, and other high-ranking officials in Beijing.

As per Report, the Chairman of Azerbaijan's Audiovisual Council, Ismat Sattarov, stressed the importance of deepening cooperation between Azerbaijan and China in the field of audiovisual media and other areas.

During the meeting, the "Memorandum on Cooperation in the Field of Radio and Television Broadcasting between the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the General Administration of Radio and Television of the People's Republic of China" was signed. The purpose of the document is to develop cooperation in the field of radio and television broadcasting and accelerate the exchange of experience and personnel.

The Azerbaijani delegation includes the Executive Director of the Media Development Agency (MEDIA), Ahmad Ismayilov, Chairman of the Audiovisual Council, Ismat Sattarov, head of the Media Sector of the Department for Work with Non-Governmental Organizations and Communications of Azerbaijan's Presidential Administration, Kamran Hasanov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC), Vugar Aliyev, and the Executive Director of the AnewZ TV channel, Rufat Hamzayev.
