Zielinska: Aghdam may become driving force of region’s economy

Once restored, Azerbaijan’s Aghdam may become the driving force behind the region’s economy, Marcelina Zielinska, an architect at the British company Chapman Taylor, a participant in the first national urban planning forum that opened today in Aghdam, told Report.

“If necessary, we will be happy to provide our vision of the city of Aghdam. This city needs a strong economy, it can become the driving force of the region. Aghdam should have many schools, universities, business centers to attract young people. It should be an industrial city, with developed business,” she noted.
