UK minister: Internationally facilitated negotiations - best way to secure de-escalation

Tariq Ahmad, Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and United Nations at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, has welcomed the progress in the recent peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Report informs.

“I welcomed progress in recent peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia in my meeting with Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov. Internationally facilitated negotiations are the best way to secure de-escalation and a return of stability and security in the region,” he tweeted.
