The initiative to recognize the independence of the so-called regime in Nagorno-Karabakh was unexpectedly discussed and rejected in the Canadian Senate a few hours ago.
Report informs, pro-Armenian senator Leo Husakos wrote about this on Twitter.
“This is a sad day for the Armenian people. They have been abandoned by Justin Trudeau, who once again favors a tyrant. And sadder still that Trudeau’s Senators chose to play politics and turned their backs on the Armenian community,” he tweeted.
