Spanish journalist: Implementation of Zangazur corridor - of particular importance

It is very important to open the Zangazur corridor connecting Nakhchivan with the rest of Azerbaijan, the correspondent of the Spanish agency EFE Ignacio Ortega, who visited Aghdam today as part of a group of foreign journalists who arrived in Azerbaijan to cover the Summit-level Meeting of Non-Aligned Movement.

"The implementation of the Zangazur corridor is logical. I am sure that the Armenian side will realize this in the future," the journalist said.

"I have written many times about the tense relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. It is very painful for me to see all the destruction in Karabakh," Ignacio Ortega said, emphasizing the special importance of investments in infrastructure, and then in the restoration of houses.

He noted that only three years have passed since the end of the second Karabakh war. "Although it was short-term, but, unfortunately, it was bloody. I hope that peace will be established between the countries. I wish peace to all the peoples of the Caucasus."
