The remnants of the separatist regime in the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan have begun to punish the peaceful Armenians living there.
Report informs that the Prosecutor General's Office of the so-called regime has opened a criminal case on treason during the Second Karabakh War.
The criminal case is based on the information from public organizations that a group of residents helped the opposite side during the fighting.
The case sent to the 'Investigative Committee' of the so-called regime is investigated under the article 'treason' of the Criminal Code.
There is one way for civilian Armenians in Karabakh to escape illegal and unjustified punishment: to declare en masse that they have accepted Azerbaijani citizenship and are ready to live in Azerbaijan. Like other citizens, the Azerbaijani state will ensure the security of civilian Armenians who are not involved in any crime.
